Service beyond great.Wine list is huge.Food is prefect.Prices are much better then other high end steak houses.It calls itself a steak house But the seafood is also great.I would highly recommend Nero's as a must go to when your in the area. Highly recommended.

Filled me up. Looking forward to returning with my coworkers. Prices are fair I would say. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

Went with family for my birthday, got seated in the wine room with a great cozy asmosphere. Had escargot then a Big ol filthy ribeye done Chicago style with roasted cauliflower, mushrooms, and asperagus. With two bottles of wine. Some cocktails, desert and coffee. They gave me a slice of dark chocolate mousse on the house because of my birthday and skipped the gimmicky singing. No mint for a mojito but I'll still give ya the 5 stars.

Perfect succulent melt-in-your-mouth baked octopus and the hubby's bison tenderloin was amazing. I wanted to swim in the truffle butter. The calamari was the star of the show, but the sauce that was on the escargot was spectacular. Wait staff was very professional and attentive, and the bartender was skilled at mixing both the classics and adventurous new creations. This was the best meal in Windsor hands down, and I can see why its so highly rated. Even the booth we had lent to a wonderfully private atmosphere, which me and the husband enjoyed immensely.

The steak & lobster special on Wednesday's are amazing. Service is great and environment is very pleasant.

Took my friend out for his birthday dinner. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we managed to grab two seats at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. The seared branzino was delicious with the extra accompaniment of asparagus. My friend had the prime rib and accompaniment of lobster Mac n cheese. Definitely make reservations in advance.

The food was decent on this visit, but the service left something to be desired. I have frequented this restaurant a few times before, and the service was impeccable. I truly don't appreciate paying top dollar at a fine restaurant only to receive lackluster service! I was certainly disappointed and probably won't be returning to Neros.

First time having dinner at Neros, even though I have lived in Windsor for a very long time and love a good steak. The food was excellent my husband and I both had steak and both were so tasty and cooked to perfection. It is ala carte but there is so much of the side dish, it can easily be shared. Neither of us finished our sides. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service excellent. Brad was our server for the evening, he was attentive and very professional. I would rate this restaurant as one of my favourites.

We were there on Sunday n the meal was ok, my steak filet was delicious but my husbands was like warm, we seen the waitress when she delivered our meal but never seen her again until the very end, she never even came by to see if we liked our meal, so if asked if I would eat there again probably not, I think The Keg is a better option! Service was mediocre, gal at the front desk was very nice n friendly to

Always Amazing!!!

Went to neros for Christmas dinner to find out they did not prepare enough specials, that left us with ordering steak. With that being said steak arrived I had ordered medium well so after a few bites there was something distinctly wrong, the steak was rare not blue rare but merely place long enough to get char lines. Manager came along an apologized profusely and suggested that I have them put it back on the grill. Thinking to myself you’ve taken ten minutes to come to my table then have the audacity to ask me if I want it reheated? Are you crazy? The next response was well you won’t have to pay for your meal and have a great evening. I’ve been dining at neros for years and I have to say that was the worst experience I’ve ever had enough to make me reconsider future engagements there!

My girlfriend and I have went to Nero’s one other time and the food was amazing which is the reason for us returning. Yesterday we both ordered 35 day dry aged fillet steaks and after receiving my steak and cutting it down the middle I noticed that my steak was very undercooked. I do like a medium rare steak but this was crazy!! The steak didn’t even look cooked at all in the middle of the steak and it was unbelievably chewy and just disgusting. After waiting 35 MINUTES for our waitress to come our table, my girlfriend had already finished her entire meal while I was stuck waiting for the waitress. In the end I still had to pay for HALF of the steak even though there was only a couple bites out of it. Terrible steak for a place that specializes in steak. Won’t be returning.

As the other lower reviews mentioned, mediocre at best. Definitely not “fine dining” caliber. From the staff , to the food, to the majority of clientele. We have been to many fine dining restaurants from big cities to small towns, and this restaurant pales in comparison. We stay at the hotel when in town for work and will eat here once in a blue moon. Some staff seem inexperienced and uncouth. Female manager looks dishevelled and unprofessional, judging from what I witnessed from a table across who had a complaint. She did not handle or express herself in a professional manner. Maybe the reason for so many 5-star reviews is that you look around at most of the clientele, and you can judge from their attire and mannerisms, that they do not frequent upscale restaurants. So then they do not know what good quality food tastes like? You see a lot of people wearing hats, jeans, SWEAT PANTS....my assumption is that the gamblers get comped meals. But regardless, dress code should be required or common sense. Reason for 2-stars, food wasn’t horrible, it was good but lacking in flavour. Could get a better steak at The Keg for a better price. Ambiance is nice, great view, thanks to Detroit.

Our favorite dinner spot. Kim and Mike in the lounge are two of the best bartenders around. Food is excellent quality. Service with a smile. Never disappointed.

Attended a private party and the service was exceptional. Our appetizers were very impressive, great cocktails, delicious wines, and the prime rib was perfect! The octopus, escargot, and garlic shrimp were my favourites. My only criticism is the creme brûlée’s sugar crust was too soft to crack through and just got absorbed by the custard. Everything else was absolutely outstanding!

Very good quality food, well organized. Our server had a "weird" attitude but still had a good service. Will go back when in Windsor.

Nero's has excellent entrees but really fall short on the accompaniments. The cremins are whole mushrooms and taste uncooked on the inside. The baked potato is literally just that, no chives bacon or anything. Come here for a great steak or really good chicken just be prepared for a mediocre at best side dish.

Very fine dinning. Beautiful view of the riverfront. Best Escargot I've had in a long time. Excellent Lobster and Alaskan Crab. Complementary valet parking when dinning and then you can go to casino to play after eating. You have to get your vehicle by midnight.

The food there was soooo good had an amazing steak and the sides where just as good worth every dollar.

AMAZING!

Celebrated my father's 85th birthday here. Food was very good and the service was amazing. They went way above and beyond to make it a special night for Dad. They have a surf and turf special on Wednesday night and it is a great deal for fifty bucks.

The food is beautiful. You want to eat it. Great food every time I go here. Dare I say that this steak is better than the Keg's. Service is impeccable. You get what you pay for. I recommend sharing a steak and side, each ordering a salad, and splitting a dessert. Sirloin was cooked perfectly at medium. The Yukon Gold whipped potatoes are to die for, with ample butter for a velvety smooth texture, and delicious taste. The beet and goat cheese salad is a regular go to of mine. The pretzel buns are the best. I'm not a fan of the other bun type offered in this basket. That is my only complaint. The pumpkin cheesecake was a special they were having for the fall season. Any time Neros has specials, they are well thought out.

Made a reservation for our anniversary. Came early and they accommodated us. So far so good. Service staff was prompt with drinks and appetizers. The French onion soup was way too overwhelming, but the Brie esgargot was very good. Then the wait for our main course was 45 minutes!!! Not acceptable. We did not order a 5 course meal, therefore no need to keep us waiting. We flagged down the server and complained and our meal came out in 10 seconds. Were they holding our meal? Hmmm, I wonder. We had surf and turf. The filets were not cooked to proper temp, because they were not aged properly and the lobster was mediocre. It's sad to say, but the whipped potatoes were the best part of the main main course! On top of our disappointment, a staff manager or someone unidentified approached our table and apologetically stated that dinners usually take an hour and half to serve. (Um, sorry, not in a half empty restaurant) her tone was condescending, suggesting we were being unreasonable. Ok, been around the block a few times and for over $200, I expected a more special experience, sorry, I give this place a thumbs down. This never happens at Caesar's Casino in Vegas! Take note !
